This nordic alpine village has extensive cross country skiing and many cosy cabins for the winter months. The village sits on a plateau above Nesbyen which is easily accessible via a picturesque three hour train journey from Oslo city centre. This area claims the unusual record of Norway’s highest recorded temperature of 35.6ºC set in 1970 with plenty of hiking trails for Summer.
